Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Water Resource Reclamation Facility (WRRF) Expansion – Project 2 Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the City of Idaho Springs
The City of Idaho Springs (Owner) is soliciting proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firm for the Water Resource Reclamation Facility (WRRF) Expansion – Project 2. Project 2 includes the installation of an Aerobic Granular Sludge (AGS) secondary treatment system in the existing sequencing batch reactor (SBR) basins, modification of the existing post equalization tank into a sludge buffer tank and an area for future tertiary treatment, and resurfacing the existing WRRF building’s exterior.
The Owner intends to contract with the selected CMAR firm to assist the Owner and Engineer in finalizing design and developing a guaranteed maximum price for the Project (Design Phase). Additional services may be awarded to the selected CMAR firm for construction, construction inspection, and start-up services (Construction Phase). The Design and Construction Phase contracts will be awarded separately.
The RFP will be available Wednesday, May 29th at 8 AM. A mandatory Pre-Proposal meeting will be held on Thursday 30th at 8:30 AM at the existing WRRF (980 County Road 314, Idaho Springs CO 80452). Electronic Proposals will be received until 2:00 PM, local time, Thursday, June 13th, 2019 via email to mkatalinich@jvajva.com.
Proposals received after the date and time indicated and/or proposals which are not prepared and filed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Requester for Proposal will not be considered for evaluation and will be returned to the Proposer.
