The Departments of the City of Idaho Springs provide the core services of the City to our residents.
The Administration Department is responsible for the supervision, administration, and coordination of the activities and functions of all City Employees, Departments, Commissions & Boards to implement City Ordinances and Policies and oversees operations of the Town as a whole.
The Police Department is responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining public order, and managing public safety in the CIty.
The Public Works Department is responsible for managing physical assets, management practices, policies and personnel necessary for the City to provide and sustain structures and services essential to the welfare and quality of life of Citizens.
