A playground is located at the east end of the park, as well as a pavilion.The City does not take reservations for the pavilion, it is first come-first served. In the summer the park hosts a Farmers Market every Friday.

Located in the lively downtown district, this park is a popular hangout and meeting spot. A public restroom is located in the park.
Macy/Ruth Mill

This quiet park on the west side of town houses a playground and public restrooms.
Shelly/Quinn Fields
101 E Idaho Springs Rd
On the eastern end of town, the complex houses two ball fields. Open to the public, but pets not allowed.
Water Wheel Park
Visible from the interstate, the often photographed Water Wheel is a historic icon.Behind City Hall a paved path leads under the interstate and along the creek for a better view.Currently the trail is undergoing renovationsand access is closed to the public.

Anderson Park
Located behind City Hall, this park is home to the Steam Locomotive Colorado &, Southern No. 60 and Passenger Car Colorado &, Southern No. 70. It sits on a piece of the original rail line that once ran through Idaho Springs.
