POSITION: Community Development Planner

SALARY: Up to $114,000 depending on experience

The Community Development Planner performs land use, zoning, and short- and long-range planning functions for the City.   This professional position shall be the primary point of contact for information flow among developers, applicants, engineers, attorneys, other consultants, and City departments for all assigned projects to ensure the exchange and presentation of pertinent information to the Planning Commission and City Council.  This position also provides staff support to the Historic Preservation Review Commission and the Variance Board.  Occasional evening meetings and the ability to work a flexible schedule are required.  The Community Development Planner reports to the City Administrator. POSITION:               Maintenance Worker I

AVAILABLE:          Open until filled

DESCRIPTION:       Performs general labor and routine maintenance functions supporting the municipal streets, parks, buildings, utilities, and services infrastructure.  This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position working 40 hours per week that requires occasional work on weekends and holidays and overtime work as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required.  Minimum 18 years of age. Valid Colorado Driver License with the ability to obtain a commercial driver license during the first year of employment.  Acceptable Drug Test.

COMPENSATION: $17.32-$23.91 per hour, $36,017-$49,741 annually with comprehensive benefit options including health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance plans, retirement plan, deferred compensation plan, employee assistance program, and recreation center passes.
