Water Main Break on Colorado Highway 103 at Skyline Drive is under Repair

A water main break is under repair on Colorado Highway 103 at Skyline Drive. Staff from the City’s Public Works Department have been working since yesterday to locate the leak and perform the necessary repairs. The repair is expected to be completed by the end of today.
Customers on the City’s water system may notice a change in water pressure and possible water discoloration. However, the water is safe to use.
After the leak has been repaired, chlorine levels will be increased to ensure proper disinfection. The line will be flushed, and samples will be tested to confirm proper water quality.
The City is also coordinating with the Colorado Department of Health and Environment regarding this situation.
