CITY OF IDAHO SPRINGS IS CONDUCTING A LOTTERY FOR A SHORT TERM RENTAL LICENSE
The City of Idaho Springs has a Short Term Rental (STR) license that has become available. Interested applicants must submit a complete letter of intent within the next 30 days (deadline March 11th, 2024) that includes the following information:
(1) The full name, address and telephone number of the applicant;
(2) The address and current zoning designation for the proposed licensed property;
(3) An explanation of the applicant's legal right to occupy and use the property as a short term rental (e.g., by ownership, leasehold interest with owner's consent, etc.); and
(4) A sworn statement of the applicant's good faith belief that s/he will be able to demonstrate that the proposed licensed property meets all short term rental requirements imposed by this Code.
