Managed Parking Update in Downtown Idaho Springs
Changes effective Sunday, May 1, 2022
Idaho Springs has a managed parking program featuring a resident permit parking only zone and a commercial paid parking zone. Parking is managed by Interstate Parking of Colorado between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, 7 days a week. Interstate Parking employs “Parking Ambassadors” to manage the parking facilities.
There is always free parking available in the Downtown Area for City Residents, County Residents and Employees. This is acquired by registering vehicles at www.parkidahosprings.com. The following areas are available to park free of charge in the Downtown area for City Residents, County Residents and Employees:

On March 21, 2022, City Council voted to make two changes to the Managed Parking Program. 1, The City will alter the price of parking in the Downtown Area, and 2, we will begin offering 15-minute free parking spaces on 14th-17th Avenues to facilitate quick trips downtown.
