Idaho Springs partners with Veterans Coalition to take donations for residents of Lodge of the Rockies
The City of Idaho Springs has partnered with the Veterans Coalition of Clear Creek County to take tax deductible donations to assist in the efforts to temporarily house individuals who were evacuated from the Lodge of the Rockies on December 10, 2020.

To the persons being displaced at the Lodge of the Rockies:
On behalf of the City Council, I am writing to let you know that we understand the challenges and stress that come with having to relocate on short notice. Since the City was first notified of this situation two days ago, the City has been working closely with Clear Creek County Human Services to address the immediate needs of those being displaced.
City of Idaho Springs establishes personal assistance fund to assist residents during COVID-19 Pandemic
The City of Idaho Springs was recently awarded $84,000 through the Federal CARES Act to provide Personal Assistance to Residents of the City that were impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City has developed a program to provide impacted residents with cash awards (before December 30) and Safeway Gift Cards.

Clear Creek County moves to level Red on the COVID-19 Dial
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY MOVES TO COVID-19 SAFER AT HOME DIAL LEVEL RED: SEVERE RISK
Effective Friday November 20th at 5:00pm, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), is moving Clear Creek County and 14 other counties to the recently revised LEVEL RED – SEVERE RISK on the COVID-19 DIAL. The dial has also been revised to add a new highest risk level of PURPLE – EXTREME RISK.
